As of December 30 2015, the Blackboard system was retired, and the course data was archived. OSU students, instructors and staff are not able to access Blackboard sites.

Q. What should I do if I need access to Blackboard content after December 30, 2015?

A. All Blackboard sites were archived, and will be retained according to OSU’s record retention policy. Archived Blackboard material is available upon request to instructors and organization site leaders; please email canvas.support@oregonstate.edu and include the course number, section number and year/term, e.g., "CH_123_001_S2014." Course material will be exported to a compressed (.zip) file for instructors (or organization site leaders). Please allow 3-5 working days for your request to be completed.

Q. What should I do with a Blackboard archive (.zip) file?
A. The Blackboard .zip file will most likely be placed on a Google drive folder for you to download and save to your computer. There is no need to open or extract the .zip file; you will import it directly to a Canvas course shell. You can import the entire course, or select specific content. See instructions here. (We request that you do not set up Canvas Studio sites to store archived Blackboard content).

Q. How should I handle Incompletes?
A. Instructors may request students with Incompletes to be added to active, published Canvas course sites so they can access course material. Please email canvas.support@oregonstate.edu; include the student’s ONID and the full course and section number they need access to, e.g., “BI_211_X001_F2016.”
